This is the one for the dry red enthusiast. This mead is lighter in body, yet fresh and fruity. Garnet in color and flavours of ripe cherry, red cassis, and fresh strawberry. Aged on Hungarian oak which gives much lower tannins, releases aromas quicker, and gives higher amounts of buttery lactones. Chock full of red and black berries that are highly praised for their antioxidant content, specifically phenolics, flavonols and anthocyanins.

Pair alongside wild game such as duck, venison, grilled BC salmon, and dishes that include roasted beets or wild mushrooms. Also pairs nicely with a charcuterie board and robust creamy cheeses, such as roquefort and delicate cheeses such as chevre.
