Earl Grey Shortbread
If you love Earl Grey Tea as much as I do then you are bound to adore this lovely twist on a classic recipe.
Ingredients
2 C Flour
1 C Butter
2 Tbsp loose Earl Grey Tea
3/4 C icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Directions
Step 1
cream butter
Step 2
sift flour with sugar and salt
add loose tea to flour mixture and stir
cream dry ingredients into the butter until just coming together
Step 3
place onto parchment paper and shape into a log and place in fridge for 30 mins
unwrap and slice (or roll gently and cut with your favourite cookie cutters)
back at 375 for 10-12 minutes
do not over-bake
