NOSE  

A combination of tart, fresh and fruity notes of gooseberry with a hint of greenness. 

PALATE

Medium-dry with firm acids supporting the lovely mineral cut of the bright raspberry tinged rhubarb. Fresh fruit emerges on the fairly long finish which shows off bright flavours of tart red gooseberry and watermelon with a hint of herbal-spice

NOTES 

Rhubarb Melomel is a great pairing partner with spiced barbecue dishes and curries, and lighter meats including Quail, Turkey, Pork, hard and richly flavored cow and sheep’s milk cheeses.
